I was a young kid, but doing amazingly well with paying his bills on time and had really good credit. Until one day I was on my way to work, and the unthinkable happens - I got into a car accident, which wasn't my fault. The picture displayed is not my car, but the extent of damage is fairly accurate. I was injured very badly in this accident. My body was covered in cuts and bruises, and I need extensive physical therapy on my wrists, ankle, and my knees. I had two surgeries related to this accident. Anyway, this accident set off a series of events over the next 6 years or so that were beyond my control. My bills went unpaid and suffered dramatically, thus leaving my credit score to suffer. I lost my job and insurance as well. Not until about a year ago, was anything going my way. But since about a year ago, I've been working on getting my life back into place. I have a very good job where I work at one of the top 15 Fortune 500 companies in the country. I'm looking for a loan to pay off some of these bills with hopes of improving my credit score so I may be able to go to traditional means of obtaining loans if need be. I'm asking for a second chance here and can provide employment verification and almost anything else that may be required. I have continual care that needs to be addressed related to this and I just don't have the money to pay these bills so I'm not denied medical attention from these surgeons and specialists that have done such a wonderful job thus far to make me feel somewhat normal and allow me to live a pretty normal life. I'm asking for a small personal unsecured loan of $5,000 in order to help me through this rough patch. I understand with my credit that the interest rates will be fairly high, and that's ok with me. I would like to keep payments around $180-$200/month.
