I need pricing for installing sheet rock, taping, spackling, and primer coat (white) paint. All materials supplied. Labor Pricing. Proof of insurance required!!!
Details:
-1000 sq. ft. rectangular ceiling (40' x 25').
-22-24 sheets (12' x 4')
-Approximately 16ft. (need scaffolding, ladder, or lift).
Obstacles:
-One attic access (2' x 2')
-2 Garage Door uprights.
-4 HVAC Registers (~6" x 12")
-5 Hi Hats (6 inch)

An expert drywall crew can make money at these prices especially when you take out the real contractors who make way to much money at $8000 for a job like this. you guys are theives.
I don't know if I was clear looking at the prices and again at my description. The ceiling is the only part to be rocked as there are cinder block walls. I apologize if this was unclear, but your pricing should only reflect sheet rocking the ceiling.
Notice how the price just keeps going lower and lower. Often if something is to good to be true it usually is. I'd be worried about someone trying to work so cheap. All you hacks are just undermining the economic infrastructure. Any real contractor willing to do this amount of work for less than eight thousand dollars is an idiot or a con artist. Ther are only two realistic bids so far. Despiration is regrets ugly cousin.
Just to update: I am a general contractor and will supply all of the materials. I was going to have my crew do the work initially, however we are extremely busy. This is a very simple job and should take about a week with a few guys...
