With ThemBid, finding a plumber or other service provider is no longer a chore. Instead of searching aimlessly through local business listings, ThemBid lets you place a simple online job request, then sit back and relax as businesses bid for your work. Comments, ratings and reviews help you make the most informed and value-based decision, and you can add your own review once your job is complete.

Businesses can make unlimited bids for free, and benefit from targeted advertising and inbound customer leads. By upgrading to a premium account, service providers receive greater visibility with a more detailed company profile and the ability to receive payments online using PayPal or Google Checkout.

Post Request

1. Enter a description of your request. The description should include relevant information (amount, size, qualification, etc) to allow local providers to bid appropriately.
2. Select a category most appropriate for your request. Choose a category from our 'suggested categories' or from the menu. If there is no category appropriate for the request, click on 'suggest category' link to propose one.
3. Select a location where your request can be completed.

Businesses Bid

Local businesses who have registered at our site will get an email informing them if a consumer posted a request in their category and area. Local providers can start bidding on the request or inquire for more information about the request by adding a comment.

Consumers are informed when there is any activity on their request post. Consumers can then award the job for the provider he or she sees fit. Lowest price does not always suggest the best deal because of quality of work. Our rating system can help you make an informed decision.

The lowest price does not guarantee the best deal. After each work completed, consumers can post feedback on that provider. This will enforce a level of quality control and help future requesters in selecting the best business for the job.
